Guest Photographer feature:
“Discover London through Will Pearson Eyes.”
"I've been photographing London for more than a decade - and still find something to fascinate around every corner."
Will Pearson is a panoramic photographer who's very much a native of London - despite his Derbyshire roots. Will has been taking shots from the age of 12 when he was given his first SLR camera. Even in those early days, he had a fascination with extending images into haphazard panoramas – frequently sellotaping together sequential shots to create panoramas for his bedroom walls. After university, and some time spent as a director of an internet company, Will returned to photography. The dawn of the digital age meant that sellotape was no longer a key ingredient, and Will set about learning his craft, choosing to specialise in panoramic photography.
Will believes that panoramas are an art, and he is constantly learning and investing in the best equipment to ensure that he is crafting the finest images. Will has now been a practicing panoramic photographer since 1994, and has travelled widely capturing panoramic images and creative virtual tours. He has exhibited as far afield as Shanghai, and his work is frequently featured in the press, which has led to some exciting panoramic commissions. His clients include the Royal Household, Barclays, Siemens, Mubadala, Virgin, Imperial College, BBC, Rank and SEAT Automotive.
His London virtual tours captured in (and above) the city aim to allow the viewer to get a new perspective on London - seeing it not only in 360 degrees, but with all its colour, texture and vibrancy.
Will runs a commercial virtual tour company www.eyerevolution.co.uk and you can also view his creative portfolio on his personal site: www.willpearson.co.uk.
